Interlochen Arts Academy senior Joshua So fell in love with the oboe the moment he heard it, but feels like he's only now using it to make music - and make music he does! He plays his oboe with a perceptive, emotionally intuitive touch.
Joined by collaborative pianist Ya-Ju Chuang, Joshua performed two movements from the Franz Krommer Oboe Concerto No. 2. Joshua says he thinks of the piece as a love story.
Before you think he's too serious - Joshua's also got some nifty tricks up his sleeve that he learned in fifth grade magic club!
