Tim Kubart & the Space Cadets' 'Really Real You' show performs live at the City Opera House this Saturday.

Tim Kubart’s "Really Real You" show is an interactive musical experience that helps kids explore emotions like guilt, empathy and resilience. Through sing-alongs, tap dancing and storytelling it encourages everyone to embrace their true selves.

"There will be a drummer there, a keyboard player and even a Broadway-caliber world-class tap dancer will be on stage with me," says Tim Kubart about his upcoming show. "He tap dances, he plays a lot of other instruments and he also just really helps everyone kind of get involved in the show."

His inspiration began while volunteering at a women and children’s shelter in New York City during college where an impromptu circle time began the foundations of a joy filled career.

" I first found my love for making music for kids when I was in college. I had to do some volunteer work for a class and I started working at a shelter for women and children on the Upper West Side of Manhattan."

Tim won the 2016 GRAMMY Award for Best Children’s Album for his original album HOME and was nominated again in 2018 for BUILDING BLOCKS. Known for his catchy pop melodies and heartfelt lyrics, Tim’s music is a favorite on SiriusXM Kids Place Live.
