Emily Duncan Wilson recently joined Interlochen Public Radio as Classical IPR's digital content manager.
Wilson is an Ivy League-educated sound designer, composer, woodwind musician and educator originally from New Hampshire.
She has been working with Classical IPR since 2022 as the producer of Kids Commute and Classical Sprouts.
Last fall, the Metropolitan Opera invited Wilson to interview the three teenage cast members of Mozart's "The Magic Flute" and to get a behind-the-scenes look at the production.
Her profile of the production can be heard in a special episode of Classical Sprouts.
As the digital content manager, Wilson will continue to produce and will also oversee Classical IPR's digital presence, including email newsletters, social media accounts and the mobile app.
"We're thrilled to be able to expand Emily's role at Classical IPR," said IPR's music director Amanda Sewell. "She has expertly shaped our children and family shows, and we're excited to have her bring our talents to the entire station's digital presence."
