This past week, more than 450 IPR listeners generously supported our local public radio service with more than $96,000.
The impact these contributions make in our community is audible, helping us bring northern Michigan the stories and the music that matter to them.
Your contributions make possible our local reporting, and national and international reporting from NPR. Important local stories like Michael Livingston checking back in with Gaylord six months after a tornado devastated the community. Or Patrick Shea's recent explanation of how hunters in the Upper Peninsula want to change the way they're regulated. It is thanks to you that IPR can cover our communities with depth, and follow up on big events to find out how they really affect the people who live here. We are so lucky to have thoughtful and caring community members like you supporting public radio in our region.
You are also giving this music-loving community fresh perspectives and daily doses of musical joy. Whether it’s a concert performance from an ensemble like the Traverse Symphony Orchestra, or a primer on the euphonium with the world-renowned expert Demondrae Thurman, there is always something unique to experience on Classical IPR. We can’t thank you enough for being a part of it.
