Carolyn Watson conducts favorites by Mozart, Rossini and Ravel along with a hidden gem of a trombone concerto composed by Wagenseil and performed by Thomas Riccobono.

The Traverse Symphony Orchestra launched its symphonic season with a concert featuring favorites by Rossini, Ravel and Mozart.

The program also included a rare performance of a trombone concerto by 18th-century composer Georg Christoph Wagenseil, featuring Thomas Riccobono playing the alto trombone.

Dr. Carolyn Watson was the guest conductor for this concert.
