The Traverse Symphony Orchestra launched its symphonic season with a concert featuring favorites by Rossini, Ravel and Mozart.
The program also included a rare performance of a trombone concerto by 18th-century composer Georg Christoph Wagenseil, featuring Thomas Riccobono playing the alto trombone.
