Clarinetist Lorin Levee spent 35 with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, joining the orchestra as a bass clarinetist in 1976.
In 1981, he won the principal clarinet role and held it until his death in 2012.
As a teen, Levee spent eight summers at Interlochen's National Music Camp.
This program features archival recordings of Levee's student performances at Interlochen as well as later professional recordings made with the Los Angeles Philharmonic.
