Jill Van Stratt and her sisters, Sally Drilling and Chris Ameel, are devoted bell ringers in Traverse City. Every year they wear colorful outfits, play music and dance outside of Horizon Books — even in 19 degree temperatures. Sister Peggy Maine will join Jill, Sally and Chris next year after retirement.
