National Writers Series: Robin Wall Kimmerer

Robin Wall Kimmerer is a botanist, professor, and enrolled member of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation. She’s well-known for her book “Braiding Sweetgrass,” which was first published in 2013. Her newest book is called “The Serviceberry: Abundance and Reciprocity in the Natural World.” She spoke with Matthew L.M. Fletcher, law professor and chief justice of the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians, at the City Opera House in Traverse City in August of 2025.
