National Writers Series: Nina Totenberg

Nina Totenberg is NPR’s legal affairs correspondent, where she’s best known for her coverage of the U.S. Supreme Court. She had a decades-long friendship with former justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who died in 2020. Nina wrote a book about that relationship, called “Dinners With Ruth: A Memoir on the Power of Friendships.” Via video monitor at the City Opera House in Traverse City, Ruth spoke with April Baer of Michigan Radio’s “Stateside.”
