Brad Meltzer has written several non-fiction books about conspiracies to kill U.S. presidents. But his main occupation is writing thrillers—he’s published 13 of them, every one of them New York Times bestsellers. The latest is called “The Lightning Rod.” It’s a follow up to his novel “The Escape Artist,” featuring his characters Zig and Nola. Brad appeared at a virtual National Writers Series event and spoke with fellow author and friend John Searles.
