William is a Ghanaian-American performer and teacher who has studied music in Ghana, Switzerland, the United States and the United Kingdom.
He's passionate about advocating for music written by composers of African descent, and he's shared five special pieces with us this week.
You'll hear music based on a Jamaican folk song, music that tells a story about the Mississippi River and music inspired by a royal Ghanaian dance.
