Clarinetist Ian Dodd is currently in his senior year at the Interlochen Arts Academy.
While at Interlochen, he has held the position of Principal Clarinet in both the Wind Symphony and the Orchestra. In 2023, he was named a Finalist in the Interlochen Arts Academy Concerto Competition and served as an Alternate in the Michigan National Teachers’ Association State Competition.
This week, Dodd will be featured on the nationally syndicated show From the Top, in a performance that was recorded at Interlochen Public Radio earlier this year.
He is also a recipient of the Jack Kent Cooke Young Artist Award.

Dodd performed the second of "Three Romances," Op. 94 by Robert Schumann.
