Listen: Trio Azura at Interlochen

The Fischoff Gold Medal-winning piano trio presented a recital of music by Ludwig van Beethoven and Anton Arensky at Interlochen Center for the Arts.

Trio Azura won the Grand Prize Medal at this year's 51st Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition.

They recently visited Interlochen Center for the Arts as part of their Gold Medal tour around the Midwest and abroad in Italy.

While in residence, the musicians of Trio Azura presented a recital of music by Beethoven and Arensky.

They also worked with Interlochen students and gave a performance and interview in IPR's Studio A.

Trio Azura formed in 2022 at the Colburn Conservatory of Music in Los Angeles. The current members are violinist Duncan McDougall, cellist Yejin Hong and pianist Yanfeng (Tony) Bai.
