The Traverse Symphony Orchestra recently welcomed guitarists Matthew Cochran and Michael Kudirka to the Maestro Series.
The two musicians performed separately and together in a recital in the Cathedral Barn at Traverse City's Historic Barns Park.
Cochran gave the first half of the recital, which included several of his own compositions and arrangements as well as a world premiere by composer Sean Hickey.

Kudirka gave the second half of the recital, featuring music by Renaissance composers Francesco da Milano and John Dowland as well as music composed in the 1990s.
The two guitarists performed the first and last pieces on the recital together.
Hear the entire recital, including Cochran's and Kudirka's spoken commentary between pieces as well as words from composer Sean Hickey, on demand below.
