On this week's program, we celebrate the past and present of the Traverse Symphony Orchestra.
The broadcast includes music from a recent chamber recital given by TSO principals Ken Larson and Sylvia Norris with music director Kevin Rhodes at the piano.
They presented a program of socially distanced chamber music at Traverse City's First Congregational Church
Then, we'll hear the TSO perform Beethoven's Coriolan Overture earlier this year in Interlochen's Corson Auditorium.
The program concludes with a complete performance of Beethoven's Symphony No. 9 from April of 2017, featuring the Traverse Symphony Orchestra, NMC Choir and Interlochen Arts Academy Choir, as well as soloists Elaine Alvarez, Jayne Sleder, Jonathan Boyd and Mark Walters.
That performance also took place in Interlochen's Corson Auditorium.
