Classical IPR in Concert: TSO Viola + Cello + Marimba

What happens when you take three members of the Traverse Symphony Orchestra and their music director, keep them six feet apart, strictly limit their audience size and ask them to play while wearing masks?

As violist Renee Skerik, cellist Crispin Campbell, percussionist Robert Sagan and pianist Kevin Rhodes recently demonstrated, you get a program of beauty, whimsy and more than a few surprises.

This week on Classical IPR in Concert, we present a recording of this recent concert that took place at the First Congregational Church in Traverse City.
