In Studio A with an Interlochen Arts Academy student string quartet

Amanda Sewell

A student string quartet from Interlochen Arts Academy recently brought some sun to IPR's Studio A.

The students performed the first movement of Franz Joseph Haydn's quartet op. 76, no. 4, nicknamed "Sunrise." Each member also told us what they like best about this particular piece.

Listen to the entire performance and conversation below.

The quartet is coached by Renee Skerik. Brock Morman engineered this edition of Studio A.
