The Philadelphia Orchestra with Yannick Nézet-Séguin

On Thursday, September 27, Classical IPR presents a special live broadcast of the Philadelphia Orchestra from Hill Auditorium in Ann Arbor, MI.


For this University Musical Society concert, Philadelphia Orchestra Music Director Yannick Nézet-Séguin conducts Liar, a suite from Nico Muhly’s opera Marnie, Rachmaninoff’s Symphonic Dances and the Violin Concerto in D Major by Tchaikovsky with soloist Lisa Batiashvili.


Lisa Batiashvili appears courtesy of Deutsche Grammophon, which carries her recording of the Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto.
