Kids Commute - Bicycle Week! Thursday

We’re cruising through Bicycle Week on Kids Commute from Interlochen Public Radio.  This week, we’ve worked in tandem with Traverse City bicycling group, Norte, and we’re bringing you music composed about bicycles.  So far, we’ve heard an orchestral arrangement of Queen’s, “Bicycle Race,” the Elm City Four’s, “Daisy Bell,” and music composed to illustrate fictional character Pee-Wee Herman’s horror when he discovers his bike was stolen.  Today, we’ll listen to “Velocipede Polka,” written by Josef Strauss. There’s no quizlet this week, so take that extra time and take a bike ride instead.  We hope you’re enjoying Bicycle Week on Kids Commute from Interlochen Public Radio.
