The Interlochen Collection: Music of Sergei Prokofiev

Composer Sergei Prokofiev

Composer Sergei Prokofiev was born in modern-day Ukraine and lived and studied in Saint Petersburg, the Caucasus, London, Paris, Chicago and Moscow.

This program features archival recordings some of Prokofiev's music for opera, ballet and film, plus chamber music inspired by folk sounds of Kabarda, a remote region of the Caucasus.
