Hi there. It’s been a while.
Over the last few months, we’ve been thinking a lot about how we serve you, our audience, and pouring a lot of energy into some new ideas. That’s taken a lot of our focus and attention. And so we took a pause here.
And you might be thinking “Oh no, another casualty of the funding cuts to public radio!” As you know, Congress zeroed out federal support for public broadcasting. That didn’t feel good, and it didn’t do us any favors. But also? We have incredible community support and I’m really happy to tell you IPR is doing pretty well.
We’re really optimistic about our future.
So the silence on this podcast feed? It’s only a pause. Right now as we retool, it’s hard to deliver this podcast to you each week.
But we’ll be back soon, right here, with stories and conversations from the IPR newsroom. And of course, our newsroom is still churning out great reporting.
