Welcome to Intermezzo from Interlochen Public Radio, where we take a few minutes to bounce some ideas around about classical music.
Our co-host Millie has been explaining the movie "KPop Demon Hunters" this week, and host Christy L'Esperance been sharing some information about string quartets. These two things come together in the recently released album of music from the movie, played by the Vitamin String Quartet.
In "KPop Demon Hunters," there’s something called the Honmoon — the barrier between the human world and demon world that strengthens or weakens depending on the energies of the music's fans.
In the movie, if you have influence over people — like Huntrix and Saja Boys do as pop stars — you can make the whole world embrace good energy or you make them enslaved by bad energy. As you listen to today's episode, consider, what are some things in your life that give you good energy?
