There are many musical versions of the story of "Cinderella," but which one will we encounter today?
Yesterday we heard "Cinderella" on the concert stage. Today, we're adding singers and actors, and plopping the orchestra into the pit... because today's "Cinderella" music comes from musical theater!

Richard Rogers and Oscar Hammerstein wrote a musical version of "Cinderella" for television, and it was later played on stage. It first aired in 1957 on CBS starring Julie Andrews.

Cinderella was televised again in 1965 with Lesley Ann Warren in the title role.
In 1997, a third televised version starred Brandy as Cinderella and Whitney Houston as the Fairy Godmother.
