There are many musical versions of the story of "Cinderella," but which one will we encounter today?

Earlier, we heard portions of Sergei Prokofiev's ballet version of "Cinderella," and today we lose the dancers and bring the orchestra on stage for a concert version.
English composer Eric Coates wrote "Cinderella, a phantasy for orchestra" in 1929. With no dancers, no singers and no actors, the audience is left to imagine what each scene looks like.
