While school is out for summer, we're giving you a sneak peak into this season of Intermezzo's content. This is Summer School with the Lang Lang Young Scholars.
Some teens went on summer vacations to the beach or the movies, but the Lang Lang Young Scholars have spent this summer touring around the world. They even stopped by northern Michigan venues for a series of special recitals and events.

Tell us something about your home in Ohio.
"In Cincinnati right now, it's cicada season. I don't like cicadas and they were bumping into my mom's car when we were heading up to Interlochen."
What are you thinking about when you're playing this piece?
"I feel like Chopin wanted to write a moonlight conversation. Nocturne means 'night' and I feel like this piece is about falling in love."
