Ben is a Central Michigan University student majoring in history and minoring in journalism and anthropology. When not huddled over the phone, he likes to read books and play Dungeons & Dragons.

The bill from State Rep. Neil Friske, would require libraries to restrict obscene or sexually explicit materials that are "harmful to minors." If they don't, a judge could shut down the library indefinitely — something critics say is "out of cuckooland."
