Our fun and informative tasting classes are back and we can't wait to host you! We'll taste chocolate in all its forms and share with you the fascinating story of our world's favorite treat.
Classes are limited to 6 people and last about 1 - 1.5 hours. If you have a larger group, please email us for a custom class.

We'll have unique and fun games at our family friendly game night! Play one of our games or bring your favorite game from home. We'll have popcorn and light refreshments to snack on but you are welcome to bring your own snacks (or even dinner!). Our catering kitchen will be available for use and we'll have paper plates and cutlery for your convenience. Don't miss out on what is sure to be a fun time! Please note: This will be our last family friendly game night until Fall.
Join us for an evening reception of Paul Welch: 90 Works, 90 Years on Friday, May 17th at 5:00 PM. Tickets will open to the general public on April 26th.
Paul is legendary as an artist and also for his love of engaging with others—teaching, sharing, and always learning. Paul is never one to turn down a party, and this event will be an opportunity to engage with others who appreciate all he has accomplished for our region. Guests of members and the general public are welcome to attend the event, but will pay a $5 cover fee per ticket. Limit of 350 people.
ABOUT THE EXHIBITION
2024 marks the 90th birthday of celebrated artist and beloved retired NMC faculty member Paul Welch. This retrospective of his work, including several newer pieces created during the isolation of the pandemic, will be on view in the museum’s sculpture court. Many items will be available for sale, with proceeds designated for the Paul Welch Art Fund, supporting NMC students and the Dennos Museum.

Celebrate a decade of pedal-powered joy with Norte Youth Cycling! Join us at the City Opera House for a family-friendly evening of cycling inspiration and community. The evening will be filled with gratitude, giveaways, and an original feature film created by local videographer, Mark Goethel. Mark’s film captures the essence of Norte's impact, from first pedals to triumphs on the trails, all of which are propelled by Norte coaches, volunteers, and you, our community!
Bring your family and friends to share in the joy of Norte's journey. Our 10th-anniversary celebration isn't just about cycling; it's about the community, adventures, friendships, and joy that have defined the last 10 years. Join us as we pause to look back and then pedal into the next decade with Norte Youth Cycling—where every rider is welcome!

Join Table Health Registered Dietitian, Carol Bell for an evening meal that combines the best foods of middle eastern cuisine paired with locally made beers crafted by Earthen Ales. Our menu will highlight an Arabic salad, mujadara, baba ghanoush and beef kofta kabobs paired with beer sample. We’ll learn about spice and herb combinations that define this style of cooking as well as healthful ways to enjoy indulgent meals. This will be a time of community connection, laughter and food inspiration!
Fundraiser for Petoskey Bands - Petoskey Jazz and Steel Drum bands will play along with a concession stand and other events such as silent auction and 50/50 drawing.
Old Town Playhouse is headed back to the '80s when hair was big, greed was good, collars were up and a wedding singer was the coolest guy in the room! It’s 1985, and rock star wannabe Robbie Hart is New Jersey's favorite wedding singer. He's the life of the party until his own fiancée leaves him at the altar. Shot through the heart, Robbie makes every wedding as disastrous as his own. Enter Julia, a winsome waitress who wins his affection. As luck would have it, Julia is about to be married to a Wall Street shark, and, unless Robbie can pull off the performance of a decade, the girl of his dreams will be gone forever.
St. Andrews Presbyterian Church “Arts on the Hill” Ministry Team is happy to announce the first concert of the 2024 season at the church (8190 Lincoln Road, Beulah, Michigan). These programs are planned in memory of and honoring Rev. Bob McQuilkin. Northwest Michigan College’s “Canticum Novum” performs “Music from Around the World” on Friday, May 17th at 7:30 p.m. A free will offering will be taken to support future Arts on the Hill events and cover concert costs. Free and ample parking.
