SUMMER SOUNDS: The Shouting Bones
SUMMER SOUNDS: The Shouting Bones
Enjoy a delightful performance in the Art Park's unique forest amphitheater from indie-rock couple The Shouting Bones, with Eric and Holly Jaqua,
The Shouting Bones individually also have a long history in the Michigan music scene. Eric comprises one-half of The Pistil Whips and several other previous bands including Hipps and Ricco. Holly has performed as a soloist and with another previous project that she dubbed Piss Baby.
They describe themselves and their most recent album as an “acoustic spaghetti Western romance.” Their 13-track debut album, “I’m Gonna Be the One Who Holds You While You Die,” is full of songs about love, but also heartache. The duo also described the album as a “sort of indie-rock mutt."
