LWV Manistee County "Community Conversation: Policy Changes Could Affect Local Families' Access to Food and Health Care"
Strong families and a healthy community are the foundation of a strong America. Yet current policy decisions in Lansing and Washington may affect how our neighbors--seniors, working families, and children---get the medical care and nutrition they need to thrive.
The League of Women Voters (LWV) Manistee County, a non-partisan organization since 1920, invites you to a community conversation and panel discussion with local experts about what's happening here at home. From programs that support seniors to efforts that make sure kids don't go hungry, these decisions matter to all of us!
This "LWV Community Conversation" will be Thursday, October 9, 2025, 5:30 to 7:30PM at WSCC-Manistee Campus.
The LWV's mission is to keep our democracy strong by providing trusted, non-partisan information about everyday issues that affect our families and our future. For more info: lwvmanissteecounty.org
