Local Women Making History
The League of Women Voters of the Grand Traverse Area will present a program focused on women in leadership. Michele Howard, Director of the Traverse Area District Library, Brandie Ekren, Executive Director of Traverse City Light and Power, and Rebecca Pierce, Executive Editor of the Traverse Area Record-Eagle will talk about what made them leaders, who mentored them, and what challenges they faced as they rose through the ranks of their respective organizations.
