Live on the Lake, a free Summer Concert Series takes place in picturesque East Park at the Odmark Performance Pavilion in downtown Charlevoix. The amphitheater is nestled along the shores of Round Lake overlooking the Charlevoix Marina and offers tiered seating with grassy knolls large enough for lawn chairs and picnic blankets. So grab the family, get some carry-out from a nearby restaurant, and enjoy the show!

At 7 pm Hearth & Hymn opens the season with their close harmony, a minimalist folk project produced by songwriters, song collectors, and multi-instrumentalists Samantha Cooper and Elisabeth Pixley-Fink. Beloved artists in the Michigan music scene, their masterful harmonies and seamless vocal blend capture a room.

At 8 pm the main act Chris Bathgate takes the stage. He is a celebrated singer/songwriter whose stark heartbroken songs earned him a strong local following throughout southeast Michigan before an international fan base joined the fold.
