Land Based Projects Summit, Part II: An Invitation to Farmers, Land Stewards, Creatives and Artist

Land Based Projects Summit, Part II: An Invitation to Farmers, Land Stewards, Creatives and Artist

Land-Based Summit II: Deepening the Work

Join us for the second Land-Based Summit, a day to explore the conversations, ideas, and relationships sparked at our first gathering and throughout the monthly Land-Based Project Zoom series.

You're welcome to join whether you have attended previous events or are joining for the first time. This is a space for shared learning and imagining new ways to connect creativity, agriculture, and place.

Why Attend the Land-Based Summit II?

Go Deeper: Build on past sessions and take the next step in exploring land-based creativity and collaboration.

Experience Grow Benzie: This year’s summit is at Grow Benzie, a rural incubator and living example of a land-based project. Enjoy a guided tour and learn about its history, growth, and current work.

Hear from Experts: New this year—guest speakers with deep experience in land-based work will offer insight, ideas, and answer your questions.

Strengthen Community: Connect with farmers, artists, educators, and land stewards who are doing meaningful work across the region.

Bring Your Voice: This is a participatory space—come ready to share, question, and contribute.

What We’ll Explore:

How can we create projects rooted in the stories and histories of the land?

What does it look like to center community, creativity, and sustainability together?

What supports long-term visioning and financial resilience in land-based work?

Bring With You:
Curiosity, ideas, and something to write with—this will be a hands-on, dialogue-rich day.

Lunch Options:
Bring your lunch, or purchase on-site from a local food truck operating out of Grow Benzie’s incubator kitchen. There are also nearby local restaurants if you’d like to step out. Lunch time will be built into the day for connection and exploration.

Who Should Attend?
Farmers, land stewards, artists, educators, nonprofit leaders, and anyone curious about using land as a space for creativity, connection, and community.
