The Dido Ensemble is a new professional chamber orchestra based in Traverse City. Dedicated to creating a singular kind of listening experience — intimate, immersive, adventurous - Dido programs connect music across centuries and genres in a meaningful way.The inaugural concert of the Dido Ensemble will be performed Sunday November 1, 2026, 4:00 pm, Mission Hill Church, 6105 Center Rd, Traverse City. $20 suggested donation at the door.

Cycles explores the “ground” in music — the bass lines, patterns, and cycles that remain while everything above them changes. The program moves from Purcell and Vivaldi to Arvo Pärt, House of the Rising Sun, and Motown, all connected by that underlying idea.
