Ari Han is a sophomore studying violin at Interlochen Arts Academy, where his teacher is Ara Sarkissian.
This is Ari's first school year at Interlochen Arts Academy, and he was a finalist in the school's annual concerto competition.
When Ari Han came to Studio A, he played a movement from Max Bruch's Violin Concerto No. 1. He talked about his favorite solo and orchestral repertoire and about his other interests.
"It is such a pillar of the violin repertoire," Ari said of the Bruch concerto. "It's so romantic. It's very thrilling and fast paced, which I love."
While at Interlochen Public Radio, Ari Han collaborated with pianist Ya-Ju Chuang.
