Conductor Creston Herron conducted the 99th annual "Les Préludes," a beloved Interlochen tradition, at the Interlochen bowl on the evening of August 9, 2026.
"Les Préludes" is the culminating performance for the World Youth Symphony Orchestra, World Youth Wind Symphony, Interlochen Philharmonic and Interlochen Summer Dance Ensemble.
In the first half of this final concert, the World Youth Wind Symphony, led by Kevin Sedatole, performed the "Interlochen Bowl March" by Edwin Franko Goldman, "Molly on the Shore" by Percy Grainger and the "Spiritual Symphony" by Benjamin Horne.
