With tourist season in full swing, we've put together a special itinerary: In this month's puzzle, you'll find the names of several northern Michigan landmarks and attractions—well, almost. Exactly one letter in each word has been changed.
For example: BORNE FOUNTAIN would be BOYNE MOUNTAIN, because the Y in Boyne and the M in Mountain have been changed.
Your task is to figure out all the landmarks in question and identify which letters should be changed back.
When you're done, look at the underlined words in each row and identify the updated, correct letter from the actual name of the landmark. (So BORNE FOUNTAIN would give you the letter M.)
Read these letters from top to bottom and you'll see a two-word phrase reflecting both what this list contains, and what many local tourists come looking for. The answer we seek is that two-word phrase. Use the form below to send us your response.
