And now, another northern Michigan story from the Transom Story Workshop.

The organization spent a week here at IPR in August, working with 10 audio journalists who gathered stories from around northwest lower Michigan.

This week, we've been listening to many of those stories on IPR.

Today’s we head to a farm in Antrim County, overlooking the waters of Torch Lake.

It is there that an ancient relationship is still alive and well: the relationship between a man, his dog and his sheep.
