Join us in the Community Room as IPR teams up with Interlochen Public Library to present a family STEAM day exploring the science of sound - you can’t see it, but you know when it’s there.
Little listeners will have the opportunity to try all sorts of sound generating and receiving devices, including radios and a theremin.
Road Closures - Detour Information
Please be advised that a portion of US 31 is closed. Almost all travelers to Interlochen will need to take the detour outlined in the attached map.
If you are coming to IPR from the south and traveling north on M-37, you can avoid the detour by turning left (west) on Hamlin Rd, which will turn into Youker Rd and join the detour route.
South Long Lake Road is still open to northbound and southbound traffic to and from Interlochen.
