Clara Warnaar, a graduate of Interlochen Arts Academy, is a New York-based percussionist, drummer and composer known for her innovative collaborations and genre-defying artistry.
She is currently a member of the International Contemporary Ensemble (ICE) and the drummer for "Infinity Shred."

Her work includes appearances in major productions like "Reich/Richter" at The Shed, "Proving Up" (composed by Missy Mazzoli for Opera Omaha) and "PLACE" (by Ted Hearne & Saul Williams at BAM).
She is recognized for her unique blend of classical training with influences from experimental rock and electronic music. She has performed with prominent new music ensembles such as "So Percussion," "Yarn/Wire," "Bang on a Can Orchestra" and "Ensemble Signal."
Most recently, Clara served as one of the main instructors during Interlochen Arts Camp's 2025 Percussion Intensives, where she mentored the next generation of young percussionists and performed in a faculty recital.
Warnaar with next perform with the International Contemporary Ensemble at Carnegie Hall on June 26. This concert will showcase bold new works by young women and gender-expansive composers from the Luna Composition Lab.
