Director Jamie Platte talks about "Songs of Home" ahead of the choir's free recital in Charlevoix

Noteable Chamber Choir is a new vocal ensemble based in northern Michigan, bringing together 20 singers for their second concert of the season.

Music Director Jamie Platte talked with IPR's Nancy Deneen about the choir's upcoming concert "Songs of Home," which Platte described as a "musical journey about longing for home, connection and nostalgia."

The free recital takes place Sunday, March 9 at 4 p.m. at the First Congregational Church in Charlevoix as part of the Great Lakes Chamber Orchestra's Sunday Series.
