Interlochen Public Radio at 60 Years

Listener support allows IPR to serve northern Michigan with news, music, stories, and other expressions of culture and community life.

Please join us at Woodmere Library on Monday, Sept. 25 at 6:30 p.m., when Peter Payette presents "IPR at 60," a look at IPR's current state and our plans for the digital era.

We'll be in the McGuire room at the Traverse Area District Library main branch - we would love to meet you! - or use this Zoom connection to attend remotely:

If you are interested in the future of public media in northern Michigan, we hope you’ll join us for a presentation and discussion about how IPR can ensure journalism and music are core features of a rich civic life in our region.

Around 7:30 p.m., we’ll walk over to The Filling Station for more conversation.

If you plan to join us there, please RSVP at so the staff at The Filling Station can have some idea of how many to expect.

Or, if you need a link to watch the talk at Woodmere Library via Zoom please let us know at as well.

See you there!
