It's Mozart's birthday!
The compositional mastermind was born on Jan. 27, 1756, and Classical IPR is celebrating by announcing our listeners' favorite Mozart work - his Requiem in D Minor.
It wasn't an overwhelming victory, though.
His Symphony No. 40 and Serenade No. 13 ("Eine Kleine Nachtmusik") followed close behind.
Our takeaways? Mozart was far from a one-hit-wonder - listeners picked 17 different pieces overall.
Several especially zealous Mozart fans submitted favorites that weren't on our list, like "Laudate Dominum," Symphony No. 17 and his Oboe Concerto in C Major.
