Marshall Collins Jr. was just starting high school when he moved to Northport in Leelanau County more than 20 years ago. Moving from Florida would have been less noteworthy if his family was not black. Less than 4% of the county's population is black. Collins is the son of the Rev. Marshall Collins Sr. The Rev. Collins died last year and is being celebrated this weekend in the new Legends exhibit at the History Center of Traverse City. His son joins us on Points North to discuss his father's life.
