The new nonprofit is seeking to fill a research gap left after Michigan Audubon suspended its owl banding program last fall.

“We're looking for people who are curious about the way the world works," said Biological Station Director Aimee Classen.

Brothers Chris and Nick Loud created The Boardman Review in 2017. The locally-driven quarterly journal they founded showcases northern Michigan stories and is about to celebrate its 25th issue.
