Tune in to hear a production of Jean-Philippe Rameau's "Les Fetes d'Hebe" (The Festivities of Hebe, or The Lyric Talents) from Opera Comique in Paris, France. The production, conducted by William Christie, stars soprano Emmanuelle de Negri, mezzo-soprano Lea Desandre and soprano Ana Vieira Leite.
From Opera Comique: "This eighteenth-century opera ballet was a total show. The 1739 creation celebrated the virtuosity of ballet, songs, ensemble and orchestra with its transforming decor and amorous, rather than mythological, intrigues. Rameau really displayed his genius and won a resounding triumph."
