Dr. Marc Berman is the director of the Environmental Neuroscience Laboratory at the University of Chicago. His work focuses on the effects of the natural world on our well-being. Marc has a new book out about this research, called “Nature and the Mind.” He spoke with Terrie Taylor, a board member of the Grand Traverse Regional Land Conservancy, at Milliken Auditorium in Traverse City, in August of 2026.
