National Writers Series: Barbara McQuade

Barbara McQuade is a professor at the University of Michigan Law School, a legal analyst for NBC News and MSNBC, and a former U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Michigan. She came to Traverse City as part of the National Writers Series in 2024 to talk about her first book, “Attack from Within.” Now Barbara’s back with a second book, called “The Fix.” She spoke with Doug Stanton at the City Opera House in Traverse City in July of 2026.
