National Writers Series: Aziz Abu Sarah and Maoz Inon

The dispute between Israel and Palestine has long been one of the world’s most intractable conflicts. Many would say peace in the region is impossible. But peace activists Aziz Abu Sarah and Maoz Inon disagree. Aziz is Palestinian, and Maoz is Israeli, and they’ve both lost family members to the conflict. Together they’re the co-authors of a book titled “The Future is Peace: A Shared Journey Across the Holy Land.” Aziz and Maoz spoke with Interlochen Public Radio’s news director Ed Ronco at Traverse City Central High School Auditorium in April 2026.
