The AR-15 rifle is one of the most recognizable and controversial firearms available today. But few know the history of its creation. Wall Street Journal reporters Cameron McWhirter and Zusha Elinson decided to write a book about the rifle, called “American Gun: The True Story of the AR-15.” Cameron and Zusha spoke with author and Marine Corps veteran Benjamin Busch at the City Opera House in Traverse City.
