As usual, there was never a dull moment on this week's episode of Music by Request.
Listeners asked for specific performances featuring pianist George Li, violinist Renée Chemet and sibling pianists José and Amparo Iturbi.
We also heard music from the films Spirit and The Third Man as well as incidental music by Frederick Delius, operas by Jaromier Weinberger and Giuseppe Verdi, music for the stage by Adler & Ross and a very silly battle between piano concertos.
